Intro – Musik kann Vieles sein! Sie kann unterhalten, Geschichten erzählen, politisch sein, poetisch sein, philosophisch sein, religiös sein, traditionell sein, gewöhnlich & ungewöhnlich sein. Musik ist so vielschichtig, wie wir Menschen es auch sind. In der Rubrik “think about music” möchte ich dazu anregen, Musik als Lebenshilfe zu benutzen. Das erforschen von Songtexte, das Schöpfen von Erfahrungen anderer Menschen, den Vibe der eigenen Generation oder sein eigenes Lebensgefühl zu spüren, gibt uns das Gefühl mit seinen Problemen nicht alleine zu sein & jeder eingebunden ist in dieser Welt!
Manchmal ist es schön Texte zu übersetzen und manchmal sind es Passagen aus den Texten, die einen inspirieren. Ich bin da besonders bekloppt, weil ich eine unglaublich Fantasie habe. Das liegt an meinen lockigen Haaren, da kann man nicht gerade denken 😉
Heute gehts um “HOME” von JyellowL (Link zu einer Biografie)
Ich bewundere ihn total. Ein so junger Mensch, der mit soviel Grips Songtexte schreibt und mit seinem “Bro” Chris Kabs briliant vertont. Ich werde sicherlich häufiger etwas von ihm schreiben, ich bin ein echter Fan!
Sich über das Thema “Home” Gedanken zu machen, ist Grundlage ein selbstständiges & versöhnliches Leben zu führen. Woher komme ich? Was hat mich geprägt? Deshalb steht er auch zu Beginn dieser Rubrik.
In der ersten Strophe, erzählt er, von seinen persönlichen Erlebnissen in seiner Familie, die sein Gefühl von Zuhause ausmachen. Sooo schön, wie er das singt, oder? Als ich dann “apropos dishes” aus dem Song hörte, habe ich das mit meinen Familiengeschichten verknüpft. Ich machte mir das Bild vom “Geschirr” als Familie. Auf dem Geschirr wird Essen (Familienleben oder Familienweisheiten) serviert. Das Geschirr kann einfach, edel, bunt oder…, oder …. sein. Das Essen, was dir serviert wird, kann dir schmecken, dann wirst es gerne aufessen, aber wenn es dir nicht schmeckt, kann es auch abgespült werden! Das Spülen kommt einer tiefenreinigenden Entscheidung gleich. Man kann es auch weiter spinnen. Wenn ein Teller zerstört ist, kann man einen anderen nehmen, der hat vielleicht ein anderes Muster, könnte aber auch perfekt passen. Wenn man eine Kost probiert hat, die einem aber überhaupt nicht bekommt, muss man sie in irgendeiner Form verdauen und …..ausscheiden. Wenn es vorstellbar ist, ist es auch zu schaffen! Und man fühlt Verständnis, Freiheit & Liebe.

Ich bin kein Freund von Wunden lecken. Dinge passieren & es ist alles für etwas gut! Wichtig ist es, Dinge zu erkennen und sie gerade dann genauer zu betrachten, wenn sie einen besonders treffen und man sich vielleicht genau deshalb mit Ihnen nicht auseinandersetzen will. Schmerz und die Trauer zuzulassen ist heilsam. “Aus den geschwächten Umständen, kann man sich neu definieren!”Das ist ein unglaublich toller Satz aus diesem Song. Ich kann ihn nur zu gut nachvollziehen! Heute kann ich dankbar für meine traumatischen Erlebnisse sein, auch wenn es seine Zeit in Anspruch nahm, sie zu verdauen.
“Obwohl sie mich als Außerirdischen sehen, dieser Brady-Haufen hat mir mein Herz geschenkt, brachten mich zum strahlen. Sie haben mich stark gemacht, ruhig & lassen mich weiter streuen!”

Ich denke, dass meine Eltern inzwischen mich, die Außerirdische, akzeptiert haben. Jetzt da ich selber Mutter von 3 Erwachsenen Jungs bin hoffe ich, dass ich ihnen genügend Freiraum zur eigenen Entwicklung gegeben habe, so dass sie vielleicht auch einmal so über ihre Eltern und Familie sprechen, wie JyellowL dies besingt. Dazu gehört die Toleranz, daß das Leben Veränderung bedeutet und jede Generation für die Weiterentwicklung der Gesellschaft verantwortlich ist. Wenn gleich es manchmal auch nur eine kleiner Radius zu sein mag, aber jeder hat eine gewisse Aura, für die er selber verantwortlich ist & die immer für andere wirkt, auch wenn man es selber vielleicht gar nicht merkt.
Diese Erkenntnis ist vielleicht auf die Welt und unsere Mitmenschen übertragbar?! Wir leben alle in unterschiedlichen Rahmenbedingungen, die wir als Kinder unvoreingenommen als Heimat ansehen. Wie schön, wenn man als eigenständiger Erwachsener sein Nest betrachten kann und wegfliegen kann. Mit Abstand kann man dann auch andere “Nester” sehen und diese Vielfalt als schön & Bereicherung sehen, denn:

Ich habe vergessen zu erwähnen: Es gibt natürlich auch Bodenvögel, aber alle verlassen das Nest und können es rückblickend betrachten, bevor sie ein Eigenes bauen.
Ein Zuhause ohne Liebe ist nur ein Haus und wir alle brauchen Liebe, auch in ungleichen Mengen Du hörst mein Zuhause in mir, wenn ich mit meinem Mund spreche. Ja, darum geht es meinen Leuten! Nimm es mit nach Hause!

Bei meinen eigenen Kindern konnte ich feststellen, dass eine gleichberechtigte Fürsorge nie gleichermaßen gerecht sein kann, denn jedes Kind hat sein eigenes Temperament und Eigenheiten. Jedes fordert entsprechend Dinge zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten ein oder auch nicht. Und Worte können nur so gut gewählt werden, wie der Redner die Situation selber erlebt hat. Also welche Erfahrungen man zu den Zeitpunkten selber hatte. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass Fragen im eigenen Leben nicht immer von Familienmitgliedern beantwortet werden können und somit jeder mit guten “erfahrenen” Worten dem anderen ein bisschen Heimat sein kann! (und damit natürlich auch die Musik mit ihre Texte)
Gerade habe ich die Premiere des Videos angeschaut, als besonderes Ereignis, denn heute ist der 15.2.2021 und gleichzeitig mein Geburtstag! Einen kleinen Gedankenanstoß will ich jetzt doch noch hier einbinden.
Was ist Leidenschaft, was nicht? Ist alle Leidenschaften Meinung? Ist alle Leidenschaft vergeben?

Interessanterweise habe ich mir über “Passion” auch schon Gedanken gemacht! In Deutsch heißt Passion “Leidenschaft”. Wenn man es also genau nimmt besteht das Wort aus “Leiden” und “schaffen”. Also ein Leiden schafft es, sich mit etwas intensiv und ausdauernd zu beschäftigen. Bei mir ist das jedenfalls so. Wenn ich leide, höre ich Musik und spiele Schlagzeug dazu. Und ich bevorzuge die tränenreiche MusikVariante, denn ich weiß dass es mir danach besser geht, wenn ich mich einmal entleert habe.
So, das waren einige meiner Gedanken, aber du hast bestimmt deine eigenen Ideen, die du mit Heimat & Familie verbindest. Ich wünsche dir, dass du versöhnlich auf sie zurückblicken kannst und das Verständnis aufbringen kannst, dass jeder Mensch auch in seinen eigenen persönlichen Familienerlebnissen verwoben ist und nicht zuletzt auch in der Lebenszeit und Umstände, die ihn geprägt hat.

Intro – music can be many things. It can be entertaining, storytelling, political, poetic, philosophical, religious, traditional, ordinary & unusual. Music is as complex as we humans are. In the “think about music” section I would like to encourage people to use music as a way of life. Researching lyrics, drawing on other people’s experiences, perceiving the vibe of your own generation or your own attitude towards life make you feel that you are not alone with your problems & you are integrated into this world!
Sometimes it is nice to translate texts and sometimes it is passages from the texts that inspire you. I’m especially crazy because I have an incredible imagination. It’s because of my curly hair, I cannot think straight 😉
Today it is about HOME from JyellowL (see the video above)
I totally admire him. Such a young person who writes lyrics with so much brains and sets them to music brilliantly with his “Bro” Chris Kabs. I will certainly write something about him more often, I am a real fan!
Thinking about the subject of “home” is the basis of leading an independent and conciliatory life. Where do I come from? What has shaped me? That is why it is at the beginning of this section.
In the first stanza he tells of his personal experiences in his family, which make up his feeling of home. Sooo nice how he sings it, isn’t it? When I heard “apropos dishes” from the song, I linked it to my family stories. I got the picture of the “dishes” as a family. Food (family life or family wisdom) is served on the dishes. The dishes can be simple, classy, colorful or …, or ….. You may like the food that is served to you, then you will gladly finish it, but if you do not like it, it can also be rinsed off! Rinsing is like a deep cleansing decision. You can also spin it further. If a plate is destroyed, you can take another, which may have a different pattern, but it could also fit perfectly. If you’ve tried a food that you don’t get at all, you have to digest it in some way and ….. excrete it. If it can be imagined, it can be done! And you feel understanding, freedom & love.

I am not a fan of licking wounds. Things happen & it’s all good for something! It is important to recognize things and to take a closer look at them when they hit you particularly and perhaps for that reason you do not want to deal with them. Allowing pain and grief is wholesome. “One can redefine oneself from the weakened circumstances”. That’s an incredibly great sentence from this song. I can understand it all too well! Today I can be grateful for my traumatime, even if it took up a long time to heal.

I think that my parents have now accepted me, the aliens, and I hope that my boys have given my boys enough freedom for their own development, so that they may one day talk about their parents and family as JyellowL sings about. This includes the tolerance that life means change and that every generation is responsible for the further development of society. Even if sometimes it may be just a small radius, but everyone has a certain aura for which they are responsible & which always works for others, even if you may not even notice it yourself
Perhaps this knowledge can be transferred to the world and our fellow human beings ?! We all live in different framework conditions, which we as children regard as a home without bias. How nice when you can look at your nest as an independent adult and fly away. With a distance you can see other “nests” and see this diversity as beautiful and enrichment, because:

I forgot to mention: There are also ground birds, of course, but they all leave the nest and can look back at it before building their own.

With my own children I have found that care can never be equally fair, because every child has its own temperament and peculiarities. Each accordingly requests things at different times or not (never). Words can only be chosen as well as the speaker experienced the situation himself. So what experiences you had yourself at that time. However, this also means that questions in your own life cannot always be answered by family members and that everyone with good, “experienced” words can be a bit of home to the other! (and of course the music with its lyrics)
I have just watched the premiere of the video, as a special event, because today is February 15, 2021 and my birthday at the same time! I want to include a little thought-provoking thought here.
What is passion what isn’t? Is all passions opinion? Is all passion forgiven?

Interestingly, I’ve already thought about “passion” too! In German passion means “Leidenschaft”. So if you take it seriously, the word consists of “suffering” and “creating”. So a suffering manages to deal intensively and persistently with something. At least that’s the case with me. When I suffer, I listen to music and play my drums along with it for hours. And I prefer the tearful music variant, because I know that I will feel better afterwards once I have emptied myself.
So, those were some of my thoughts, but you probably have your own ideas that you associate with home & family. I hope that you will be able to look back on them in a forgiving way and that you will be able to understand that every person is also interwoven in their own personal family experiences and not least in the lifetime and circumstance, that shaped them.
